Is there an app I need to download?
Nope! Loqway is browser-based for your convenience. And if you ever experience an issue while using Loqway, simply refresh your browser to resolve it.
Can Loqway be used for documenting same-language conversations without using translation?
Absolutely! Even in situations where you speak the same language, our memories often fail us. It’s valuable to have a transcript of important meetings with doctors, teachers, and financial aid planners so that important details don’t get forgotten or overlooked.
Is there any special hardware required?
Nope! Loqway uses the microphones and screens from internet-connected devices. It’s designed for use with two devices, one for each person talking, but there is a single-device mode as well. Check out our How it Works page for instructions on both methods.
Is my conversation transcript private?
Yes. You control your transcript and have the option of giving the person you’re speaking with access to the transcript. If you choose to send it to them, they will enter their email address and receive a link to the transcript. Either you or they could share the transcript with others. But if neither of you share it, it will remain completely confidential. Our team at Loqway doesn’t have access to any of your conversation transcripts.
